Our Mission
The NLE Music Foundation is dedicated to honoring the legacy of Nancy Lee Elliott, an exceptional music educator, by nurturing the next generation of musicians in Southern Maryland and surrounding counties. We believe that music education transforms lives, builds
confidence, and creates community. Through providing scholarships to children with financial need and funding essential music programs and performances, we strive to ensure that every child has the opportunity to experience the joy, discipline, and creative expression that music
education provides. The NLE Music Foundation carries forward Nancy’s commitment to students and her belief that music enriches lives and builds stronger communities.
